Interface

Notes:

Once you are successfully logged in, you can easily customize your work space.  Toggle between list view, artwork / list view, or just artwork.  In the columns drop-down menu, select the columns you would like to see.  Drag the columns in your preferred order.

Navigation works similar to your browser in Firefox.  The “Home” button takes you to your home screen, while the “Back” and “Next” buttons navigate to previous pages.

Searching

Notes:

The home screen has some columns to get you started.  Click on a general category, collection or specific album.

You can also type in a specific search criteria in the text box towards the top of the screen.

Type in multiple criteria to search a combination of words.  For example, ‘Rock Punk’ would search rock tracks that are also punk tracks.  Use the minus (-) key to exclude a search term.  For example ‘Rock –Punk’ would search for tracks that are rock but NOT punk.  The asterisk (*) will search part of a phrase.  For example voc* would search terms like ‘Vocal Vocals Vocalist’.  Symph* would search ‘Symphony Symphonic Symphonies’.

You can use all of these techniques in a search.  ‘*Symph Rock –Punk –Voc* Fast’ would search for symphonic rock tracks that are NOT punk and do NOT contain vocals, but that are fast.

Use the lock button to drill down in a search, where a new search only returns results from the previous results.

Playlists, Downloading and Sharing

Notes:

Click the “Project” tab to be taken to the project controls.  Click on the “New Playlist” button to add a new playlist.  Drag and drop tracks into the playlist or (with the playlist highlighted) click the “add to playlist” button next to a track.

Click the “download” button next to any track to download.  Click download album to download all of the tracks on an album.  With a playlist highlighted, click the “Download” button in the project controls to download a playlist.

To share a playlist, click on the “Email” button in project controls.

Cue Sheets

Notes:

To create an auto-generated cue sheet, click on the “Create Cue Sheet” button in the project controls.  Drag a playlist or individual tracks to the cue sheet.  Double click on the cue sheet to preview the cue sheet.  Enter information on the cue sheet or export in pdf or text.
